Trips & Extra Programming

The Gan Henel Early Learning Center offers extensive extra programming and frequent trips to allow our students to explore the community and beyond.

Over the course of the school year we bring in a petting zoo, Shofar Factory, Olive Press, Matza Bakery, Ice cream visit for Shavuot, Woodworking workshops and more

We take the children (nursery and PreK) on trips to Van Saun Park, Children’s Museum of Manhattan, Liberty Science Museum. Jewish Museum, Wave Hill and more.

Chesed programming in an important part of our curriculum and, as such, the children are often occupied with activities including writing to Israeli soldiers, visiting a senior home, baking Challot for the elderly, sending cards to the poor children, our annual Bike-a-thon and more.
